Nell has been a teacher for 20 years and has worked in schools in the UK, France, Sri Lanka and Belgium. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from Ghent University and the University of the Western Cape, South Africa; an MA in Education from Cumbria University and a Delta (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She joined the TEA Project team in 2016.
